WoMENA

Women empowerment for a bright Africa starts here.

For each cohort, WoMENA will:

Identify the category of young women.(e.g., young entrepreneurs, academics, housewives, married/divorced young women, young women with children outside of marriage, etc.).(e.g., young entrepreneurs, academics, housewives, married/divorced young women, young women with children outside of marriage, etc.).

Make sure that the selection criteria are precise, take into account the mentee's morality (commitment to positive change, degree of motivation, seriousness and integrity), especially when she will be mentoring other young women in her community.
Accompanying the parents of the mentees - set up a system to encourage acceptance and support for the parents of the mentees in order to avoid clashes and rejection within the family.
Take religious aspects into account in mentoring, to sensitize and make young women aware of religion (to have resource persons to accompany them on sensitive issues related to religion, such as experts, psychologists, coaches, etc.)
